Cloudy or green water usually means mechanical debris and free floating algae aren’t being cleared fast enough, even when a pump is doing its job properly.

The PondMax PF4500UV combines three stages of filtration, mechanical, biological and UV clarification, in one pressurised canister with a built in UV-C steriliser to help break down algae and clear green water. Two sets of biological sponge give beneficial bacteria somewhere to establish, and a low maintenance backwash rinsing system means cleaning takes seconds rather than a full strip down. It can be plumbed in-line for waterfalls and water features, or buried up to the lid for a neater install. Suits ponds and water features up to 4500L without fish, or 3000L with fish in full sun. Pairs well with our EV1900, EV1910, EV2900 or EV2910 submersible pumps.
