Pristine is a natural, non-chemical solution designed to boost water quality, improve clarity, reduce waste and organic films, as well as improve ammonia, nitrite and nitrate levels in both freshwater and marine aquariums.

The Science

Pristine works by introducing beneficial bacteria that efficiently digest organic waste, including fats and detritus that can form surface films. These bacteria produce biopolymers that trap suspended particles, improving water clarity. Unlike traditional nitrifying bacteria, the Pristine strains remain active in low-oxygen or challenging conditions, continuously reducing harmful nutrients and maintaining a healthy ecosystem. Regular use helps stabilise biological filtration and supports the overall health of your aquarium.

Directions for Use

Shake well before use and turn off UV sterilisers or ozone during dosing. Apply the initial dose, then switch to the maintenance dose after biofilter establishment or after tank cleaning or medication. Ensure antibiotics are removed with activated carbon and a water change before adding bacteria.

Heads-up

If nutrient levels remain high despite treatment, check for overstocking, overfeeding, or insufficient filtration. Allow 2, 3 days for bacteria to establish before reintroducing UV sterilisers or ozone.
