Sludge builds up on rocks, gravel and in filtration from fish waste, plant matter and other decaying material, and it’s often hard to treat evenly, especially in tricky or hard-to-reach spots.

Aquascape Pond Sludge Remover Packs are water-soluble packs that dose the sludge layer directly, making it easy to spot-treat problem areas rather than treating the whole pond. They eliminate and prevent sludge and muck, and keep rocks, gravel and filters clean. They’re safe for fish, plants and animals. For ongoing bacterial maintenance beyond sludge control, pair them with our Aquascape Liquid Beneficial Bacteria. If cloudy or discoloured water from fine suspended sludge is the bigger issue, our Aquascape Clear for Ponds is formulated specifically for that.

Directions for Use

• Add packs directly to the water
• For dirty ponds, treat twice weekly for two weeks, then once weekly for maintenance
• Heavily aerate for at least 24 hours after application
• Calculate pond volume: length × width × average depth (m) × 1,000 = litres
