New Life Spectrum Insectum Regular Pellet – Insect Protein Fish Food

Fish in the wild eat a much broader range of protein than most aquarium diets offer, and a food built entirely around fish meal or a single protein source can leave gaps in a fish’s nutrition over time.

New Life Spectrum Insectum is built on the same soy-free Spectrum Nutrition Formula as the rest of the range, but swaps in a blend of five insect proteins, mealworms, silkworms, black soldier fly larvae, crickets and grasshoppers, for essential amino acids that more closely mirror what fish would naturally encounter. It’s also enriched with Moringa leaf, a natural source of vitamin A, vitamin D, calcium, potassium and antioxidants, on top of the whole Antarctic krill and Omega-3 protein already in the base formula. The Regular pellet is 1mm to 1.5mm and sinks slowly, suiting small to medium fish that feed at mid-water or on the substrate.
