This large pellet (approx. 7.2-8.2mm) suits bigger koi that have outgrown a medium pellet, giving them a bite size that matches their larger mouths without excess waste. Available in 5kg. Recommended For

Larger koi that have outgrown a medium pellet, especially where improved colouration and growth are the goal. A favourite among koi breeders and show keepers.

Feeding

Regularly monitor your pond’s water temperature and adjust feeding frequency and portions accordingly. Avoid overfeeding, and always remove any uneaten food after feeding to keep your pond healthy.

• 20-30°C: Feed 2-4 times daily, providing no more food than your fish will finish within 2 minutes.
• 15-20°C: Feed up to twice daily, with the same 2-minute consumption guideline. For best results, feed during the warmer part of the day.
• 11-15°C: Switch to a more easily digestible cold-water food, as your koi’s metabolism starts to slow.
• Below 11°C: Feeding should be minimal to none, koi become largely inactive and struggle to digest food properly at these temperatures.
