BBA Beneficial Bacteria Liquid Solution – High-Concentration Bacteria Treatment for Ponds

Beneficial bacteria is easy to overlook, but it makes all the difference when dosed regularly. In nature, water bodies are teeming with bacteria that break down waste and harmful pollutants to keep the system clear and healthy. Man-made ponds don’t have this bacteria in the same abundance, so it needs a helping hand, ideally after a new pond set-up, after cleaning, after water changes, and on an ongoing basis to keep things in good shape.

BBA Beneficial Bacteria Liquid Solution is a scientifically formulated, high-concentration aerobic bacteria treatment, roughly 20 times stronger than most other brands on the market. It eliminates ammonia, nitrites, nitrates, phosphates, organic matter and odours, breaks down sludge through biofilm formation, and works as a natural algaecide by depriving algae and weeds of the nutrients they need to grow. It’s safe for all aquatic life, even at higher doses, and fully natural. Available in 100mL, 250mL, 500mL and 1L bottles. If string algae or blanket weed is your main concern, our BBA Algae Blaster is formulated specifically as a natural algaecide and may be a better fit. Standard bacteria strains, including this one, slow down or become dormant once water temperatures drop, so through autumn and winter switch to our BBA Cold Active Beneficial Bacteria instead.
