The Aqua One FilterAir is a sponge filter that provides gentle biological and mechanical filtration, making it a popular choice for breeding tanks, fry tanks and shrimp aquariums. Water is drawn through a high surface area sponge, which traps debris and gives beneficial bacteria plenty of room to grow, and the low flow is safe for fish of all sizes.

Specifications

How to Use

• Assemble the sponge, clear pipe and weighted base.
• Connect airline tubing from your air pump (or a water pump) to the top of the pipe.
• Place the filter in the tank and switch on the pump.
• When the sponge clogs, squeeze it out gently in used tank water, never tap water, so you keep the beneficial bacteria.
