Hikari Cichlid Bio-Gold+ is a colour enhancing daily diet developed for carnivorous cichlids and larger tropical fish, especially those kept without UV light exposure. It uses Hikari’s proprietary Hikari-Germ, a source of live, naturally occurring beneficial microorganisms, alongside easily synthesised Astaxanthin for vivid, natural colouration.

This medium pellet is approximately 5.0-5.5mm, suited to larger cichlids and tropical fish. Built around premium grade fish meal with garlic and DL-Methionine added for palatability. For smaller cichlids and tropical fish, we also stock the Hikari Cichlid Bio-Gold+ Mini. We stock this medium size in 250g.

Feeding

Feed two to three times daily, offering only what your fish can completely consume within 2 minutes. Always remove any uneaten food after feeding to maintain water quality. For the full benefit of the live microorganisms, feed Cichlid Bio-Gold+ continuously rather than intermittently.
