A newly calibrated water path cycles through 4 complete filtration stages to optimise cleaning performance.

Pre-filter stage: Intake strainer sponge protects the pump from large debris and algae strands, keeping fry and small fish safe. 

Mechanical Stage: High-density 30PPI Bio-Foam (50% more porous than before) traps finer particles and debris while supporting biological filtration (AC20/AC30/AC50/AC70 models).

Chemical Stage: Activated carbon eliminates odours, discolouration and impurities to improve water clarity and colour. Insert is now easily replaceable from the top without removing the media basket.

Biological Stage: Ultra-porous BIOMAX boosts beneficial bacteria growth and optimises aquarium health

Patented Refiltration System

This unique feature permits flow rate adjustment without compromising filtration efficiency. When flow is reduced, the system will process up to 50% of the water several times within the chamber, ensuring a cleaner and healthier aquarium with exceptionally clear water.

CycleGuard

CycleGuard maintains your aquarium’s biological balance and prevents nitrogen cycle disruptions. By allowing 1 of the 3 media inserts to be changed at a time, bacteria levels remain stable, supporting continuous and effective biological filtration without harmful fluctuations.
