ADA La Plata Sand is a natural, fine-grained white-beige sand designed for aquascaping. It’s carefully processed to prevent cloudiness and does not affect pH, GH or KH, giving you a clean, natural riverbed look without disturbing your tank’s water chemistry.

Pairs beautifully with darker substrates and hardscape like driftwood and stone for contrast, or combine it with our ADA Aqua Soil Amazonia Ver.2 as a foreground or pathway layer over an active substrate. Available in 2kg and 8kg.

Setup & Usage

Rinse thoroughly before adding to your tank to remove any loose dust. Use as a foreground or pathway layer, or combine with an active substrate for a striking contrast. Avoid stirring it into nutrient-rich soils, as mixing the two can cloud your layout.
